Salsa 98.1 FM ofrece pasantías para estudiantes universitarios. La estación mantiene su compromiso con la creencia de que la práctica en la experiencia laboral añade realismo a la teoría y los conceptos de clase. Salsa 98.1 FM ve las pasantías como una parte vital de la preparación del estudiante para el empleo. A través del Programa de Pasantías, Salsa 98.1 FM invierte en el futuro de la fuerza laboral, ofreciendo hoy desafiantes oportunidades educativas.

Pasantías Salsa 98.1 FM están disponibles en Radio, Producción, Promociones, Relaciones Públicas y Ventas e Investigación Marketing. El número de pasantías disponibles en cada uno de estos departamentos puede variar de un semestre a otro. Las pasantías están disponibles todo el año. La mayoría de las prácticas varían de 3 a 6 meses. Los días y las horas son flexibles y pueden variar en la asignación y el horario del estudiante. TODAS prácticas no son remuneradas y a cambio de créditos College.

PRÁCTICAS PROFESIONALES
Salsa 98.1 FM ofrece la oportunidad de realizar sus prácticas profesionales en diferentes áreas que incluyen radio, producción, mercadeo, entre otras.

Requisitos:
Además de tener una seria vocación por su carrera, los aspirantes deben estar cursando materias universitarias relacionadas con la práctica profesional. Deben tener certificado del plantel educativo.

Duración:
La práctica profesional es de mínimo 250 horas. Con cada estudiante se manejan horarios individuales y flexibles de lunes a viernes entre 9:00am y 11:30pm.

WNUE -FM, Orlando’s Salsa 98.1, is currently looking for part time on air personalities. Salsa 98.1 is quickly growing as the ‘Tropical Culture Epicenter of Orlando’ and we are looking for some LIVE and LOCAL on air talent that is ready to join our team and win!

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years experience required; on a major market experience preferred. Responsibilities include the performance of live broadcasts that are entertaining, compelling, and informative; monitoring the music and commercial logs for the air-shift; ensuring that promotions and contests are executed properly; operating the control board; Understanding of PPM format and logistics are encouraged.

  • A broad understanding of 360° brand marketing. Text messaging, web content, video, events, on-demand audio. Do you have enough content to use these tools?

  • Flexible schedule.

  • Enco / Vox Pro / Experience required.

  • Must be bilingual English/Spanish

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills, outstanding ability to relate and communicate with Hispanic audience, positive attitude both on and off the air.

  • Knowledge of the FCC and all other federal, state and local laws and regulations.

  • Applicants must possess a strong work ethic, be well-read, punctual, and be a team player with a cooperative attitude.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Daily on-air broadcasts for day parts.

  • Prepare adequately for an air shift with use of original material.

  • Exercise professional judgment of all on-air material.

  • Maintain personality page on social media websites.

  • Voice Commercials.

  • Available for occasional appearances at station events in the community and at nightclubs (This may result in additional income).

Salary: Commensurate with Experience

Job Title: News Anchor Producer

Job Description/Responsibilities: Ideal candidate must be able to research, write, produce and present

news stories on the air. Must be able to originate and develop story ideas and write scripts for assigned

news shows. The News Anchor serves as a representative of the station in community and civic affairs.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 Write, Deliver newscasts, news reporting and specials reports when assigned

 Live shots or field anchor as needed

 Edit stories as assigned

 Make public appearances/community involvement

 Front station promos

 Develop contacts in the community and become involved in community projects

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

 Minimum of three years on-air anchoring or reporting experience preferred

 College degree with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism or Communications preferred

 Must have excellent written and verbal communication in Spanish and English

 Strong organizational and delivery skills

 Excellent presentations and reportorial skills

 Knowledge of journalistic standards as related to the on-air presentation of the news

 Must be able to work well under pressure and with others to develop and execute compelling

newscast

 Must be self-motivated and creative

 Must write stories that have been assigned in a compelling and accurate manner

 Always follow the producer’s instructions

 Cooperate with producers at any time needed

  Actively listen and follow directions in the

 Send daily story ideas to the producer/News Director.

 Participates on daily editorial meetings, pitches story ideas and showcasing of daily stories

 Do in-house packages and re-track stories when needed

 Voice over the news briefs on a daily basis as assigned by the producer

 Work with other producers and anchor to craft “anchor moments” throughout the newscasts.

 Engage viewers daily on talent Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts

 Participates in community events and represent those appearances on social media.
